Hi there, second rotation - Patel family coming at you, brah. When last we left- ah, its been too long, but in the last chaper, Ramir got himself a little involved with the little Noble girl, Xiao Sying. Tsk tsk.
Will he choose his family over the young, beautiful and supple Xiao Sying? Could he abandon his family for Xiao Sying's affections?
Dragonfruit tree bringing in the Logics to Veni, oh yes!
Ramir comes home from work exhausted. He doesn't want to tink about Xiao Sing. He doesn't want to think about Ana and his son. He just wants to sleep.
He sleeps through Veni's birthday.
Bam! Little Boy Blue.
Ana has at work making use of the gift her husband gave her. She doesn't want him to think her ungrateful.
And not wanting to disappoint his father, Veni gets to studfying straight away. He's going to make someting of himself. Just like Daddy.
He brings home Prince Megeru.
The're fast friends. Megeru has been all over it seems.
Ramir is pleased his son is friends with the Prince and paints them hugging. Weirdo.
Veni's first friend and his dad made it weird.
I don't know whether to be afraid of that look or be aroused by it. Anyways, Ana went to a community lot to gain some friends on her husbands behalf.
Town gossip relays her husbands indescretions regarding the nble teen, Xiao Sying. Ana doesn't know what to think. Also Sanjay and Cleo are getting closer. Don't you even!
Cleo suggests just getting even with him and sharing a bed with another man. Lady Wan overhears her advice.
She tells Ana trying to get even will only make matters worse. Ana doesn't know what to do! Afterall, its Patricia's daughter who's threatening Ana's family. She doesn't know if she can even trust Lady Wan.
But she must remember her place. She gives Lady Wan the respect a Noble is given.
And listens to what Patricia has to say.
Sure, she could throw herself at the first guy she sees. But that wouldn't make her any better than Ramir. And as far as Patricia knew, her daughters relationship with Ana's husband hadn't progressed that far. Xiao Sying is a young girl. This infatuation will pass. And Ana would have thrown her marriage away for nothing. It simply wasn't worth it.
Besides, Sanjay already had an extra-carricular relationship with Cleo. Ana suspected Cleo wouldn't want to share him, not to mention Priya.
So Ana takes Lady Wan's advice and returns home untainted by adultery. She's rewarded. Ramir comes home, embraced by his son and the family seems stable.
However, Ana isn't comfortable sharing a bed with her husband quite yet. She asks him to sleep in their sons bed for the night. Ramir can't help but suspect that word got around of his flirtation with the Noble girl.
He felt disgusted with himself. He had a beautiful wife. She gave him a brilliant son. And he had almost forsaken his blessings on the flirtations of a child.
To make matters worse, Veni was developing relationships of his own with the Wans. Xiao Syings brother Lei-
and her sister, Lin, were coming home from school with Veni. Ramir feared it was by their sisters request. Her way of collecting intelligence.
Ana visited the bath house, running into Xiao Syings father, Kevin. Ana didn't know what to do. All she could do was show her respect for the Noble. She had no idea if he knew about his daughters meddling with Ana's marriage. Ana didn't know how to bring it up.
But as the sun broke over the horizon, Ana decided she had enough of this uncertainty. It was a new day. It was a new Ana. She would keep her husband. She would keep the life she built. She would not let a child ruin her life.
And as Ana had this moment of clarity, Ramir had one of his own. He would stay away from that Xiao Sying girl. He would not accept her affections any more, and he would not allow her to snoop into his affairs.
That morning Ana brought up point blank the rumors slithering through the Silk Road. Ramir had brought slander into this house. Had sullied their names. Veni listened quietly.
Ramir stuffed his mouth with omelet, splashing his breakfast on his wife. But she remained firm.
She would not see him embarrass himself or his family any longer. He would not consort with that girl. He would live a respectable life from here on out. Veni looked to his father. The man he tried so hard to please. Now his father looked so- belittled.
He was grateful to his mother. She had proven herself to be a strong woman. The kind of adult Veni could look up to.
But Ana didn't want her son to think badly of his father. While Ana took care of things at home-
Veni's father saw to it that they had a home. ndthat was worth appreciating.
