When Vermillion called to check up on Omen, he - well, he didn't lie. The first part of this chapter logs the first week that wasn't documented earlier, because I didn't think it was worth noting.
When he moved out, he didn't move far. The townhouses next door were maybe a little too posh for Omen, but seeing as they were the only apartments in Brill he decided to go with it.
This is how everyone should say goodbye, amirite? Anyways, this is Meadow Pederson, the nice young lady to whom Omen was referring to his mother.
In fact, he was so enamored with Meadow when they first met he proposed to her.
But things were not to go well with Ms. Pederson. Somehow Omen knew it in his bones.
They went on a date, a date Meadow was sure Omen didn't want to go on.
And this colored her views of him the entire night.
While Mrs. Crumplebottom accused the couple of making use of the photobooth in much the same way as Bistre does.
Omen mistakenly said he would have liked to, but Meadow rejected him. This resulted in brick-laden purse flailing. Meadow felt Omen was getting just retribution and so stood by.
After a bit of a makeover she helped her poor neighbors out of the heat of the sun.
But also ran into the landlord, Mr. Wade. This ended her engagement to Omen, unfortunately. Can't have no wife heart-farting over the landlord, it just isn't tolerable! Anyway, Meadow left Omen without a bye-or-leave and we're caught up to this week now.
Now for this week. Omen, still believing his fiance to be at work, doesn't realize he's been jilted yet.
He went around the house on his day off and made the place look nice for her.
Later he ran into Michelle Tse a neighbor, who bumped into Meadow on her way out.
She assumed Omen knew aout Meadows flight act. Omen wasn't all that understanding.
To make matters worse, the sink broke.
And the toilet clogged.
It was a bad day for Omen.
And he went to bed alone finally realizing that Meadow wasn't coming back to him.
Are you serious?! ARE YOU.
EVEN SERIOUS RIGHT NOW!?
Can't a man catch a break!? Leave him alone!
That is some shit luck right there.
-gasp- 'I been caught!'
I'm serious, I didn't even plan this. I mean, how could I have?
Least the cop won.
But the burglar is apprehended. So that's... something?
Omen doesn't really think so.
The next morning Omen gets a call from Naenae, his sisters fathers girlfriend and dead brothers only love. She invited him out on an excursion. Things can't go worse, for Omen, right?
So Omen agrees to participate in the outing.
Omen sees Naenae in a new light. I think its flourescent, either way, he thinks maybe she'll be good rebound material. Despite her relationship with the witch boy.
Omen acts on it.
But later tells Marylena Hamilton that it might have been a mistake and he doesn't think Naenae is right for him either.
She overhears him.
And the bitchslaps commence.
Back home the next morning Omen runs into Solveig Shiek and things heat up.
But it jsut so happened that at that moment Meadow Pederson had returned to the hosue of Omen to see if she could rekindle their relationship.
However after seeing him with another woman, she was mroe than a little upset about it.
Right in front of Solvieg. She looks like she's expecting some answers, too, doesn't she?
His chances shot with that cute college girl, Omen brought Meadow inside to continue their argument.
And pointed out that speaking of answers, he didn't have any either, as to why Meadow bailed on their engagement. Meadow decided she'd show him.
She promptly ran into Mr. Wade and admitted her attraction to him. That's Solveig in the hot tub. She and that old bitty are a little dumbfounded by whats going on.
Omen slaps Meadow.
Mr. Wade spots a hot young blond in the hot tub and Michelle Tse gets struck by lightning in broad daylight.
Omen can't withhold his anger anylonger.
Meadow is just as vindictive.
But loses as omen is a man and junk.
Out in Undercity, Sandy Fairchild and the Vampire Count aren't seeing eye to eye.
And it leads to fisticuffs.
The count decides to build an army to defeat the fairchild witch.
An army he can control with impunity.
And one that can be stationed at outdoor posts day and night because npc vampire baristas dont flee from sunlight while on the job.
Anyway, this is where Omens chapter with his fiance ends.
After she kicks his ass.
He's had enough of this.
He wants his ring back and he never wants to see Meadow again.
Nope. no pleas will be heard. You want someone else. You left me.
He apologizes for the way he treated her. he was raised better than that. maybe. I can't rememebr.
The new vampire spawn sees all. He's sure his master will be pleased with this news.
And Omen, as a fam sim, has a tough time dealing with this familial failure.
"You know, maybe you should be alone for a while, my beloved."
Omen respected his mother, regardless of the fact that she never had a long term relationship.
Usually doesn't stop people of the ilk from making those kind of suggestions, though.
"You'll have a family, someday, Omen, don't worry. I asked the Lew! She's very reliable."
Gypsy Lew made good on that prediction right away.
Poor Omen. This isn't the way he wanted to build his family.
We all know how supportive pollination technicians are.
Yeah no. No support at all. Good thing Omen's already an Education Minister.
And this is where we leave Omen for a couple seasons. Thanks for reading!
