Alright, folks, fourth chapter of the Revenant OWBC. And there won't be any deaths in this chapter! Whaaaat!? I know, right? Maybe next time.
So Bistre gets cracking on those gardening skills because she'll need them if shes going to follow in Mother's footsteps.
Nightshade is just refusing to get abducted by aliens. I mean I get it. The house is pretty full. It's just- I want a plant alien baby. T~T
Vermillion has designs for her daughter. Not Volcano Pin Ball Machine designs, but designs, nonetheless.
And now that Bistre is beginning to accept her role in this family, Vermillion feels comfortable passing on the power bestowed unto her by Jayapalan the Odious.
Bistre joins the coven.
But there is a balance that must be maintained. Vermillion heads up to her secret rooms for the last time.
She has concocted this strange potion in preperation for this moment.
Her mind is assulted by the bitterness and her powers are sapped forever.
After the effects have taken their toll she steps from her clandestine witch cove-
and says goodbye. It is now her daughters.
Bistre has such lovely and dasterdly plans for her new liar.
But first she must begin the long trek of study.
While the boys keep to their simple pleasures.
Vermillion is reminded that she hasn't lost all her afflictions. She's still a vampire and must heed the rules of undeath.
Now that Nightshade has achieved his dream of becoming a Mayor he must go about corrupting his office systematically. Lets not forget who his mother is, afterall.
Bistre appropriates her mothers apple orchard, seeing as Vermillion no longer requires one.
Omen grows up into a teen.
And rolls Romance. Gosh, I guess we know which family member is going to die this generation. I kid! I kid! -sort of-
His birthday goes unnoticed by his family.
But family time is still shared at meal time. Not that Vermillion has to eat. And Bistre is conspicuously absent.
She's perfecting those Magivestigium spells.
Omens new aspiration as a Romance sim becomes almost second nature to him. He's pretty suave with the ladies.
And though Vermillion is still heading up the local crime syndicate.
Her family means more to her than she ever expected they could.
She's even proud of her charmer.
Omen is the first of her brood, aside from Nighshade, of course, to pick up a job.
While the friends he brings home reak havok on the flamingo field.
I don't know what job he picked up. It doesn't matter that much because he'll be going to college, but he does top the teen career in one shift.
After a few days Vermillion realizes she still has witch reagents floating around in her inventory so she surprises Bistre with a batch.
It's time for the Summer Solstice party!
Bistre and Omen make fun of their mom. Hey, they're teens. They don't care if shes criminal mastermind of the universe.
Omigosh, some guests got into a fight in the kitchen!
It's Jayapalan the Odious and Naenae!
Wow. I wasn't expecting Naenae to win over the Odious.
Keep face, guys, It's Ochres birthday. Jerks.
"Yay, woo!" No one seems to care. Makes sense. No one really paid attention to Omen.
Nightshade and Naenae are becoming closer and closer these days.
And after Naenae's earlier scuffle, she's feeling envigorated. She and Nighshade share their first kiss.
And though she might have ruined the quality of the party, she and Nightshades relationship couldn't be stronger.
Yes. Yes, she and Jayapalan did ruin the party. -sigh-
That night, with all the children now capable of taking care of themselves, it's time for Nightshade to quietly disappear into the shadows. He doesn't say goodbye, and no one notices him leave.
Ochre's busy catching up with his older siblings.
Omen's playing pirate in the bathtub.
And Bistre perfects her gardening skills.
And now that Ochre's older he's appreciating his awesomeness.
Omen's been bringing home a veritable slough of teenaged girls, so it's time to pick one and go on a date.
His first date is with Sofia... Sophia? Sophie? And it goes swimmingly. One bouquet of red red roses for Omen.
Now that Bistre doesn't have to study the black book or tend her garden shes eager to engulf herself in the evils she can cause.
While Vermillion has to remind herself now and then that sunlight is no bueno for vampires.
The ghosts have taken up residence on the lattice above the skygazer-... I know that's not the name fo- Telescope! Anyways, I'm not sad about this. The rules dont require free-roaminess. And having them free-roaming wouldn't benefit any of my kids. None are Knowledge sims. Bistre is a family sim, Omen is a Romance sim and I think Ocher is a Pop sim.
They're great students.
Omen's father, Mr. Coudrec has been meandering onto the lot lately.
But he doesn't autonomously interact with Omen.
In fact he seems to be actively ignoring his son. Aw man. Now Omen will have daddy issues. That must be heart-breaking for teh boy. That is his dad, right? Because he and Rodney Jung look alike.
Bistre takes a job at the local gas station and gets promoted right away.
And Ochre isn't far behind. All the teens have top level jobs and have A+s in school.
And they're skill building efforts are paying off.
But its comforting to know they still have time to interact with each other.
And to pursure their own desires.
Why is this dog thinking about making out?
Anways, Autumn Equinox shindig, ya'll!
Baked Alaska is being served up. Lets hope this party goes better than the summer one.
Naenae is not invited.
Bistre has a chance to catch up with her ageless father.
And even though Vermillion hardly interacted with her guests, the party was a good one. Yay!
Ahh, brotherly love. Anyway, it's time to see the children off. Bistre turns into an adult tomorrow, and I don't need to fail the Bonus, thank you very much.
So this is it. Only Vermillions flamingoes in the flamingo field. Too bad it's winter, or this would be the perfect time to call over the gardening club.
Except that darn Bistre girl forgot her book of shadows and her cauldron and the throne of darkness! Here, you go dear. Stop being so forgetful, Mauricette!
Have a good time at college, Bistre. Cause lots of mischief, okay?
Aw, Mom. ~~~<3
Time to throw the winter solstice party! Because there's nothing else to do in wint- Aw! I should have had the guests freeze!
Next time. >_>
Oh look, some guests and the brood.
The kids' dads are here, too. Except Sinjin. Because now hes refusing to come to the lot altogether now. Look at Omen. This whole ordeal has given him an eating disorder.
Vermillion is glad to see Contessa Bim Fong-
And the two hot vampire chicks dance the night away.
Completely ignoring the heck out of everyone.
Omen is rather pissed that his siblings and their fathers get to have relationships with each other.
But the night ends on a high note. I didn't get the good party icon, though, so I can't prove it.
All this winter time allows Vermillion, a knowledge sim, to top some of those skills sh'es lef alone since college.
Spring Equinox party.
Is shut down by the cops almost as soon as it begins.
Resulting in a lot of uneaten cake and a bad party memory. Disaster.
Anyway, spring time means garden club- woo!
Fountains are good, trees are healthy, little saplings are happy.
Even the painting supplies get a thumbs up.
Vermillion received $706 for her garden efforts, and her membership card. Jeez, only took me three tries! Actually, I think Nightshade still has his garden club membership. But the first attempt was a huge flop!
To celebrate, and to improve on Vermillions party scores, she throws anothe Spring Equinox party. She lays the cinnamon pretty thick.
Lights a match.
And sets the plate on freakin fire.
Sparkly blazing crepe suzette, folks.
Vermillion dons a formal dress and gets ready to entertain!
Hello party-guests, former lovers, current lovers and spawn! Lets have a party.
Hi, Taylor, thanks for coming. Ochre, get out of those lumberjack clothes.
Ah! Bim Fong is making a meal out of Joe Carr!
I didn't know vampires did this autonomously!
What am I going to tell your son! Now both his parents are vampires!
Don't bend over backwards just to please me, Witch Boy, you're already the father of the heir.
Vermillions re-Spring Equinox party was a success! Hurray! And now its time to say good bye. The year is over. You'll see a poll thrown up any day now. Thanks for reading!
